The second phase of the East Lake Greenway has a lot of new art "landscapes"

On the afternoon of the 24th, the Dutch contemporary artist Genk Hofstra and his wife came to the East Lake International Public Art Park on the Peach Blossom Island in Baimazhou, East Lake Greenway Phase II. This is the first time he has come to Wuhan. Flying from the Netherlands to test his work - "Kissing Eggs Source of Life", these 10 interesting poached eggs will be permanently "played" on the East Lake Greenway.

Specially designed for Wuhan East Lake for the first time on the green road around the lake

On the same day, many citizens have come to the upcoming greenway “early taste”. In the East Lake International Public Art Park, every piece of art has a resident to take photos, take photos and interact. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, at the "source of life" on the shared lawn of the lake, several children have already played, and a boy is surrounded by one of the poached eggs on the "protein". When Henk Hoffstra saw the scene, he exclaimed excitedly. "Great! I want this effect, that is, children need to interact and play on art."

The Changjiang Daily reporter saw that there are 10 realistic poached egg sculptures on the lawns on both sides of the greenway. Each egg has protein, and the middle of the protein is a raised round egg yolk. People can walk on protein interaction. What's more interesting is that from the sky, four of them look like two lovers kissing. Genk happily joined hands with his wife, lying on two "kissing eggs", letting the reporter's drone aerial photography, and standing up and kissing.

Genk said that today I am very satisfied with the area in which this work is located and the effect it presents. This version is specially customized for Wuhan East Lake. The material is made of stainless steel and concrete. The production method is completely simulated and stereoscopic. It will be stored for a long time. “This time for the first time in the green road around the lake, the green environment under the water's egg, and there are many sculptures and works around, the overall environment is very harmonious, it is amazing!"

He also explained this work. “Do you have chickens or eggs first? I think there are eggs first.” Genk said that eggs are the origin of life, people and animals come from eggs and eggs, and love begins with a kiss, then life So two of them are designed to be lovers kissing. “I hope that in this way, the public will become a participant in art and experience the fun and thinking that art brings to our lives.”

Praise the Wuhan East Lake Greenway is unique and shocking

On the afternoon of the same day, Genk walked and watched at the East Lake International Public Art Park, taking photos from time to time. He has been to many public art exhibition spaces in the world, but he built a public art exhibition space on the greenway around the Great Lakes in the city. He was the first to see it, saying “unique and shocking!”

PET Non Woven Fabric

What is PET nonwoven fabric?

The raw material of PET (polyester) non-woven fabric is 100% polyester fiber. In the production process of PET non-woven fabrics, the textile staple fibers or filaments are oriented or randomly arranged to form a web structure. Then it is reinforced into mesh cloth by mechanical processing, thermal bonding and other methods.
PET non-woven fabric is a kind of water-repellent non-woven fabric. The water-repellent performance of non-woven fabrics varies according to the gram weight. The thicker the gram-weight, the better the water-repellent performance.
Polyester non-woven fabrics are resistant to high temperatures, because the melting point of polyester is around 260 °C. In environments that require high temperature resistance, the stability of the external dimensions of the non-woven fabric can be maintained. PET non-woven fabrics have been widely used in thermal transfer printing, transmission oil filtration, engine air intake filters and some composite materials that require high temperature resistance.
